Dad's PuddingIngredients

1lt milk

3tbsp flour

3-4tbsp cacao

200gr cooking milk chocolate

400gr malt biscuits

100gr white chocolate chips

1 bag of Werther’s original butter candies

Method

Pour the milk in a saucepan and heat it just until bubbles form around the edge and steam begins to rise from it. Stirring frequently will prevent a film layer from forming.

Add the chocolate while keep stirring until it melts completely, following by adding the cacao and flour. Stir all of the ingredients until you get a nice thick cream, then remove from the heat and let it cool down.

Add the butter candies and 5-6 biscuits in a blender until they are crumbled.

Start layering the pudding in a square deep tray. Create a base with a layer of biscuits then pour some of the cream and follow by adding the butter candies and biscuit crumbles along with some white chocolate chips.

Repeat the steps ( layer of biscuits, cream, butter candies/biscuit crumbles and white chocolate chips) until you’ll be left with the cream on top.

Sprinkle butter candies/biscuit crumbles and white chocolate chips.

Leave in the fridge for 8 hours then eat!

 

You can use ready salted caramel sauce instead of butter candies for a smoother texture.
